For students entering grades 9 & 10, Ashland’s newest charter school – Ashland Charter High School (ACHS) -- offers interdisciplinary seminars, career exploration workshops, field studies, and project learning in a multi-age learning environment. ACHS will enroll up to 45 students. (Grades 11 & 12 will be added in the following years.)
Project-based learning gives students an opportunity to achieve academic learning standards with a distinctive hands-on approach. Projects take place in both the school and in the Ashland community – students learn together – and the faculty collaborates to implement an innovative curriculum.
